Stella D'oro is an outstanding daylily and I hope it gets nominated sometime
in the future as a Perennial of the Year. It is a real workhorse of
landscapers and its dependable year after year.
Wish I could say the same about " Black Eye Stella" I have some and I feel
that it does not deserve all of the hype that it has received over the years.
I hope hybridizers can develop other colors which bloom with the
dependability of Stella.
