Another over-hyped daylily is "Black Eye Stella" which won I think an award
or two. I bought 25 of the wholesale in 1995 for $5.00 each. I only sold a
few and planted the rest. Iam not really impressed especially with the color
which I find a rather dull orange. I have yet to see any landscapers using
them either.
