Overuse of a variety comes with popularity. Its a viscous cycle. A variety 
appears on the scene that is really new and good. Everybody wants it 
therefore everyone stocks it. Then it becomes too common.  I guess Stella is 
a victim of its own popularity.

You have to remermber that landscapers are only going to use those varieties 
which are rugged and require very little care.  If I wanted a nice landscape 
for an office complex or business, I would want to go with low maintenance 
material. You have to remember that some people are not really serious 
gardeners.
