Hemerocallis flava

Hi Bob,

Can't give them away and have to throw them away!!!!!!!! Would you ever
consider posting that you have extra, and let those interested in some send
you the money for postage?

H. flava is a very worthwhile plant. It never seems to suffer much from
drought or insects, and it will even bloom lightly under full grown maple
trees.
I do see it in the catalogues from time to time and find it strange to see
them asking $5-7 dollars for plants. It's so common here you cannot give it
away. In our area it blooms at the same time as the tall bearded iris and
there are many different iris colours that will mix well with it's yellow
blossoms. I have about 100 square feet of the stuff and actually have to
throw some away most years.
