It's probably Achillea millefolium, the common white-flowering yarrow
introduced from Europe.  It looks a little like Queen Anne's Lace.

There *is* a native variety (I can't remember the scientific name, but
if anyone's really interested I can look it up) that only differs from A.
millefolium in the plant's number of chromosomes.

The other really invasive yarrow is Achillea ptarmica (Angel's breath)
which looks a little like Gypsophilia (Baby's breath).  The double 
varieties are especially nice.  Here's Achillea ptarmica 'The Pearl',
