Hard clay soil in full sun, zone 5a USDA? :) It's in a "prairie" bed
up at my parent's place and has sent out runners into all of the
surrounding plants over the past few years.
I understand that extra moisture really gets this one going, though, and
I imagine that a more loamy soil would encourage it even more.
