Re: Daylilies
Last fall I happened upon a daylily sale sponsored by the local chapter of
the Hemerocallis Society and boy did I get a bargain! At the end of the
day, they box up the leftovers and you can buy an entire box for $10. Well,
I definitely have the "gotta have it" bug and bought 8 boxes (about 500
fans). Each individual fan was tagged with name, color, habit and
hybridizer. Planted most of them out (ran out of steam) and am eagerly
awaiting the first of the blooms. Should be a blast and hopefully I have
some real winners.
If any of you live near an active chapter, I strongly suggest you go to
their sale.
