Re: Achillea


With all the talk of achillea, I think someone should step in and share a
truly wonderful achillea (at least in my mind).  This is Achillea
'Moonshine'.  This one has pale yellow flowers, wonderful gray foliage and
is a clump former.  The flowers are great for cutting and they combine well
with most other colors.  It blooms for a long time and if you keep it
deadheaded, it will bloom again.  A. 'Moonshine' will form a clump about
18-24" wide and it's about 2 feet in flower.  There is also A. 'Coronation
Gold' which has more golden flowers and grows a bit taller.  Both of these
make nice additions to the mid-border in either a pastel or hot color
design.  Try it, you'll like it.
