It is one of the many really good local nurseries that we are blessed
with in this area. They are a family run business specializing in
a number of different perenials and annuals. Good prices on 1-2 year
old shrubs which will eventually become large plants. Most of their
plants are locally grown by them so they are hardy for our area.
Montaque winters tend to by slightly harder than where I live in
Greenfield. Plants are great quality.
And they are very knowledgeble. Great catalog. They just got into doing
mail order last year. And I notice from their catalog that they are
continuing this year.
If anyone is up this way and visits them, you should also go to Bay State
Perennials in Whately, which specializes in perennials and shrubs and
Olde Huckely Hill Farm which has (IMHO) the best roses in our area; old
roses, shrub roses, english roses, etc., and also does perennials and
older type annuals.
