You are right about the genus, but of course there are larger groupings as 
well, and many of the members don't appear to resemble one another at all.  
I'm not sure if the Hemerocallis genus is part of a larger family referred 
to as lilies-and I don't think any of my texts at home ( except possibly for 
Armitage) will tell me that in any case.
