Fortunately, nothing had opened up for me here in Milwaukee except
the witch hazel (Hamamelis x intermedia 'Arnold Promise') and some
snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis). We went from a high of 77F last week
to morning lows of about 20F! Some frogs made their appearance in my
pond, but so far, most things won't suffer too much damage as none of
the buds have started to break very much.
