"gardens alive!" (g*@gardens-alive.com) has an organic slug control
with the corny name "Escar-Go!" It comes as pellets which you toss about
beneath the plants. Slugs and snails eat it and then go off to die, but it's
safe around other wildlife and pets. I've used it before and it works well --
and MUCH easier than messing around with bowls of beer.
