RE: Slug bait


Jean,  You know I didn't read the label with amphibians in mind, so I don't
know what to tell you.  I have used up my supply, so I don't have a label to
read right now either.  My understanding is, that it is made with Vitamin
supplement grade Iron, so that part of it should be safe.  But I don't know
if amphibians need/use Iron or if it is toxic to them.  Perhaps a
veterinarian could help?  Same product as "Sluggo" with another name is
"EscarGo"

    Does Sluggo hurt frogs and toads? I have so many I hate to feed them
something besides slugs.  However, they just can't seem to keep up with
their assigned task of eating.
