I bought a pink bloodroot from Collectors Nursery in Oregon a couple years
ago. The first year's bloom had bright pink stripes on each petal and a
pinkish cast overall. It did fade to white within about a day, but it was
definitely pink. I have it planted near the double bloodroot, a spectacular
plant, and enjoy them both. The double one has returned for several years.
I'm holding my breath for the reappearance of the pink one this year. Now
I'm looking for the double trillium!
