Re: hakonechloa macra


One of the most beautiful of ornamental grasses, IMO.  Mine does not
increase fast tho' I have read of others who have some that does. 
Wants part or light shade, not deep shade and soil that does not dry
out but drains well.

An undulating swath of it would be beautiful and take a lot of plants
or a long time:-)  It stays put all too well...

Even if you can't manage a whole swath, do get at least one
plant...it is really a beautiful grass.
