More on pink bloodroot

A few days ago I described the pink bloodroot I bought from Collectors 
Nursery two years ago.  j

Here's the rest of the story:  It opened up Friday and looked a little 
different than I remembered from last year.  It had 7 normal petals that if 
you really wished hard had a tinge of pink in them.  In between these 7 
petals were 6 very slder blade-like petals that were definitely pink.  By 
yesterday afternoon the pink tones had faded to white, even though the plant 
is shaded by a large hellebore leaf.  This bloodroot did have a second, 
smaller bloom, but it looked like a normal white bloodroot.

So in the case of my pink bloodroot, the pink is there, but fleeting.
