Had to chuckle at this, Marge. I've heard that conversation too. Yes, they
love hostas, but I haven't had much trouble with daylily buds. The emerging
foliage right now is a different story, though, and they've eaten several
right to the ground. I also enjoy the white tail and the facial expression
when they stop and look at you.
Enough about deer. I'm going to the Daffodil Convention and I guess they'll
eat away while I'm gone. I suggest to everybody that they should grow
daffodils because the deer won't eat them!
