Thanks for the tip, Margaret...think it might be quite interesting on
flat land, however, what I've got is hills and brush filled woods:-)
Often wished for a cattle guard in the driveway, tho'. Have read
that cattle guards will stop deer as well as cattle. Problem around
here is that there is very little bare land to lay anything down on.
Tried 100 feet of heavy wire fencing and it disappeared in the
undergrowth in about 2 weeks and didn't seem to help. Just found it
a couple of weeks ago, as a matter of fact - had even propped it up
here and there with old logs to try to compensate for the dips and
rises...think they either jumped it or went around it.
