hi
group,
i recently heard about
the difference between long-day and short-day onions. Rebecca Kolls said if you
live north of Oklahoma to get the long-day onions and below that state, to get
the short-day onions.
i'm not really interested in
growing onions, but what was interesting to me was that the dividing line for
day lgths in the summer runs through the state of Oklahoma. have you ever
heard or read anything about this? does it apply to other plants?
how much do the day lgths differ between my latitude of 45deg and say atlanta,
ga?
thanks,
cindy
