I do not think so- it will not be as strong a grower as some of the other
forms.
But if you wish to be on the safe side, cut the bottom out of a five gallon
pot and sink the pot in the ground and plant in the pot. These plants spread
my way of short underground stems, they will not grow over the pot or under
it. But as they become overly thick you will need to remove some of it.
Plants do best in moist well drained soils in morning sun and afternoon shade.
The flowers open up when the sun comes up in the morning and close in the
early afternoon-on cloudy days the flowers will stay open all day -- or with
good planting -- the morning sun and shade after 12 noon.
Even better-if you happen to get to much of the stuff- I will buy it from
you-As long as its not PPA.
