Where or where is spring!!
I have some plants in the basement that have given up on the idea of being
put out side this and have started to bloom.
Scabiosa = I have four plants out 6 with flowers.
Cephalaria gigantea = I started some seeds around Thanksgiving as a
germination test and they are blooming too. They are 4 to 4.5 feet tall and I
have to keep their tops away from the heat lamp otherwise they will start on
fire.
The Fuschia that I started had to be culled down to two plants and they are
blooming.
The violets have been blooming all winter.
Also had to remove a pot of Aquilegia because I am out of room and I put them
in a plastic bagging and in the fridge along with some Digitalis. Now after
five weeks in the fridge the Aquilegia want to start to grow again. I am
afraid I am going to have to pot them up again.
Oh winter when will you go away?
Looks like my gardening days this year will be done before the snow melts.
Paul
