Nancy, nearly every viticella is as hardy and long blooming as Polish Spirit. If you have a more commonly available vitacella clematis, go for it.

Planting friends - some of you recommended this Clematis for use in a
long border bed behind day lilies. But I can't seem to find it. Where
could I order it with a feeling of security. My local nurseries don't
expect to carry it, although perhaps I could convince one to order some.
Your help is, as always, appreciated.
