Steve,

Would that be Alan Haskell?  I visited his nursery once and drove around the 
block forever finding it.  He is so well known in New Bedford and and Boston 
area that he has no sign and no other indication you are entering a nursery.  
You have to have plant radar.

He has a spectacular huge tree that is complete covered with a climbing 
hydrangea that blooms every summer right in the middle of the nursery.

Mr. Haskell is pictured in the New England  "Plants" this month.
