Hello Claire,
If anyone was going to have a problem with mildew on lungworts I would
think it would be me here in southern Indiana. Heard about mildew problems
from the beginning, but (knock on my noggin') I have yet to see it occur on
any of the hybrids and species out here in the garden.... and there are
quite a few out there.. along with their mixed seedlings. Some of them are
the old varieties that are listed a "mildew prone".
My plants are along a cliff edge about half way down my hillside garden
were they stay well drained in decent soil and mulch of chopped leaves.
Winds whistle in from the west that is open in my garden. Have as yet to cut
a leaf and remove it because of mildew......
Going to be in the low 70's today... feel like streaking through the
daffodils... if I can shake this flu bug...
