How about mixing some Russian sage in there too! (the botanical name is completely escaping me...)

Hi,
I'm going to install a planting of ornamental grasses and Rudbeckias
this spring and could use some advice. I'm thinking of Rudbeckia
'Goldsturm' and either Miscanthus sinensis 'Purpurescens' or Miscanthus
s. 'Adagio.' I like the color of Purpurescens, but am concerned that its
height may outstrip the Rudbeckias (this is all on a north-facing slope,
so the taller grasses are at the bottom, which is the front, with the
black-eyed susans behind). Also, I am wondering what thoughts folks
might have on the Goldsturm.
