Thanks to everybody for comments. I think Russian sage might have a place in this planting, and
certainly the big autumn sedum. As to which grasses, I've decided to incorporate two, though not sure
which. Probably Miscanthus sinensis 'Purpurescens' plus 'Yaku Jima' (or Adagio) or 'Little Nicky' (or
'Nippon' or 'Little Kitten').
