Tell you what, I'll split the difference with you. Send me some of your
cooler temperatures and I'll send you some warm air from Texas. We are at
78 degrees, fog and heavy mist for days on end, 200% humidity. It is so
miserable outside that I can't breath, break a sweat in the early morning
just by standing outside, not working, hair clinging to my face, blinded by
salt in my eyes, Everything is starting to get fungus, mildew and mold and
of course that's my one allergy so all winter I've been coughing, watery
eyes, and runny nose. We've had a miserable winter with constant drizzle,
mist, icky, with only one or two days a month of sunshine. I feel like I've
moved to Seattle or something. Heck, the rain forests in Africa aren't this
humid!!
Yes, I'm complaining. March is normally the only dry cool 'spring' month we
get and it's being wasted with this humidity and drips. Soon it will be to
hot to go outside and work in the garden and if everything isn't planted by
the end of April it won't survive the summer. So, I'm just as housebound
as you Claire, for the opposite reason! Arrghghghghghggh.......
You know something is wrong when we down here get depressed because the
latest cold front passed us by. To us, cold fronts bring clean dry air!! I
guess everyone has their cross to bear. <G>
