Oh, it was the standard "I'm shocked! We want to
satisfy our customers 100%, I'll pass on your message"
sort of thing. But I figure, if they REALLY cared
about it, they wouldn't be continuing those "special
offers" and other sort of questionable practices that
Michigan Bulb always did.
OTOH, Gardens Alive catalog has always had the sort of
descriptions that makes you raise an eyebrow and say
"Oh yeah?", kinda like Michigan Bulb. But they do sell
some good stuff despite that. So you never know, but
the recent reports haven't been encouraging.
IIRC Stark's got bought back by the previous owners
(before they were an F&G company) or someone connected
with them.
