Which Adonis and how long have you had this plant in the ground in your part
of the world? It is criticized here as being too like a big dandelion but it
blooms for me while there is still snow on the slopes. Since that is quite a
while before the dandelions, I like this plant. Mine blooms, hangs around
for a few weeks and then begins to disappear until next winter. For this
reason it is well to plant it by the back door or in a rock garden. Mine is
very large now, big clump with lots of flowers which we will be seeing
somewhat later than in the past. Also, have you divided this plant?
