Re: SPRING/ Hellebores

Hepatica, Iris, winter Aconite "Guinea Gold", crocus, Adonis and snowdrops
are in bloom. Spring is happening so fast that I can go inside for lunch
and when I go back outside something else is in bloom. The continuous cold
has kept my Daphne odora completely dormant so I should have a magnificent
display this year. Usually it wants to bloom mid winter and the March
freezes does some damage. I have it in a very tall coldframe with some of
my troughs. I am going to plant Rhodohypoxis around the base of the troughs
since they are almost hardy here but they do decline if planted out here. I
got a mixed collection of 10 for $25 that amounted to 30 bulbs.
