Not in our woods, we would have never been able to run around bare footed as
kids with that thing around. It was bad enough stepping on the bullheads.
It looks like it might be an early spring this year-if we can avoid some
large cold front out of Canada.
I like those red thorns, I can trade you a stinging nettle from south eastern
Asia for one of yours? It does not looks as nice-but it does pack a "bite"'
in the fall. If you accidentally brush your little finger against it, your
arm from the elbow to your finger will burn and tingle for a small while and
then go numb without any felling for a half hour. If you don't curse, you
will learn too with this plant around.
