another daffy problem

Hi Marilyn,

This does sound like a double daffodil in bloom
Here's a Google web page (4) that shows a number of double cultivars.
http://images.google.com/images?q=double+daffodils&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&ie=
UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&start=0&sa=N
Perhaps the person could view these pages and see something close.

As to the description of the bulbs. In general, no daffodil division
(1-13) exhibits only re " bulbs are much thinner, kind of long and
pointed, and white on the skin, not brown."
Having said that, in my garden, long, narrow bulbs are usually from
division 3 (small cupped cultivars) or division 9 (poeticus cultivars).
But white bulb tunics, not brown or tan, is more unusual.
