Some of the rugosas are just lovely now- had many verieties to choose from
in Maine. Funny, but one of my cats that I rescued used to like to climb
the rugosa rose "trees". The older branches aren't so thorny.

I don't know, Marge. Here they think my rugosa roses are a great delicacy,
thorns and all.
