re; spring blooms

Old Man Winter is showing his ugly face again here in NE Mississippi . Last night was in the low 30's and tonights prediction is 29
I just peeked out my front door a few min. ago and there is already frost on my car in the driveway.
Earlier this evening I covered some of my plants, but I worry about them. I have a few azelia's in bloom and lots in bud. Our azelia's start blooming in April in this area. I'm sorry I called Mother Nature "an old BAT" maybe I was a little hasty, do you think? Oh, Marge, do you remember the beauty bush you helped me locate last year? well I do believe I will have a few blooms this year, if it survives tonight
