Hi, Lillian, Can you dig a hole in the snow or is it ice? There could be a hole next to the house for the roses. Cover with bubble wrap and then snow. Under the snow it is just at 32 degrees(I think so anyway). The roses will not miss the sun until they can get planted. I have always wanted a root cellar. That is what you need too but too late for this season. Warm rooms will cause leaf growth and you really want them to stay dormant.
