Re: Seed Germination/ Yo Yo weather

Hello Paul,
Has not been that long ago that we had three heavy freezes in the week of May 20th. Early spring that year but late last freeze. Thus far this winter we have had three warm-ups with dropping temps on the end of the warm spell. My poor hellebore have produced 3 sets of leaves and buds to get hit thus far. All the warm rain has keep the ground temps up. Nothing one can do, but perhaps do a little dance;-)

I will hold you to that Gene, But I do not mind the snow in May, its the drop
in temp when it gets down to 15F, after a week or two of 50's.

One year we had 6 inches of snow in April, still remember all the snapped off
stems of the woodland plants.
