I have grown these in my various gardens for many years. I'm particularly
fond of the white form which I have growing into an old plum tree (giving an
extra flower season). It is easy to grow from seed - I soak it over night
and then sow in a pot outdoors anytime April to September. It is quite
rampant so don't plant it next to any treasured plants, mine grows up to 10
feet into the tree. It grows as a herbaceaus perennial climber growing back
from the base every year. Sadly it is not scented, but otherwise is a
wonderful plant.
Incidentally I have lots of spare collected seed from the white one - if
anyone is interested send me an email.
