My favorite "orange plants" (I have a bed about
10 x 15 with peaches, blues, creams, yellows
and some orange) are agastache 'Apricot
Sunrise' (I think that's the variety name - but
you get the picture, an orange agastache), the
golden orange Chinese trumpet lilies that get
about 6' in my garden, and the annual cosmos
'Bright Lights' (yellow, gold, orange - really
pretty). I have these mixed with blue
delphinium, Graham Thomas, Just Joey and
climing Iceberg and climbing Angel Face roses,
a creamy peony, yellow meadow rue, mock
orange, blue catmint, geranium 'Birch's Double'
(purple) yellow cephalaria, rudbekia. Very
enjoyable!
