I haven't been able to find any information on what one should actually add
to the mix when planting perennials. There is a formula for roses that
includes epsom salts, bloodmeal, superphosphate and some other things. I
have been been tossing compost or composted cow manure, peat moss, a handful
of superphosphate, a handful of epsom salts, some bloodmeal into a
wheelbarrow and putting digging that into the soil under the perennial that
I am planting. I just bought some B1. I have NO IDEA what I am doing - if
it is appropriate, too much, too little. etc.
What do other people do?
Thanks.
