Re: perennials DIGEST V2 #247

Hi,

In response to the request for best or most useful tools I would like to
say that I love my "TRAKE" as it is a combination trowel and claw for
weeding with a comfortable handle in the middle. It is also very sturdy
and well balanced. Everything stops at my house if I can't find my
trake when I want to work in my flowers.

When I read posts about some roses not growing well I wonder if the root
stock might be at fault? Fruit tree growth is controlled by the
rootstock used. Some people have no problem with their roses and others
who live in same area and conditions have trouble with certain roses in
their garden. Any ideas on this?
