Too early to plant

Hi, I live in Montana and it is still winter here.  A skiff of new snow this
morning.  Over the weekend, I purchased some poppies at Costco.  "Helen
Elizabeth"  and "Perry's White".   They are boxed, and the plants looked
pretty good.  My question is:  what do I do with them for a few weeks, maybe
a month, before I can plant them?  Any suggestions?
