Marilyn, gaura growers,
I got a single plant of this last year, and was absolutely delighted with
it. Apart from looking distinguished, it went as you say on well into
November. A couple of questions. Mine seems slow to restart after the
winter, only the very odd green leaf on the stems. What does the plant want
by way of growing conditions ? Is it a woody type perennial or can I expect
some basal growth as well ? I read that whirling is sterile, where the
ordinary g.lindheimeri is not ... anyone know ?
