with respect to using the bark as nutrients or organic matter, yes,
you'd want one that was partially decomposed or easy to decompose. From
the *mulch* standpoint you DON'T. In our heat it's a moot point anyway.
EVERYTHING decomposes rapidly -- if it's ever going to (eg not
aluminium).
