Were you speaking of Hydrangea macrophylla 'Tricolor' or H. m. 'Lemon Wave'
when discussing difficulty in obtaining bloom? I looked at the beautiful
catalog that Hydrangeas Plus puts out and they mention "free flowering' on
these plants. I also see that they have an e-mail address. It might be worth
a note to them with your questions.
