have been advised to apply 1/2" layer and lightly till in: "Back to
Earth" compost (by Fertilome) - prior to planting.
also this list advised earlier to use Osmacote (14 14 14) for slo
release feeding.
would the above two products mix ok -- and what is best time to apply
Osmacote? Also would be adding from our compost pile...
in zone 5b -- alkaline soil, moderate clay -- semi-arid climate, altho
will water frequently...
