re: deep shade

I bought a number of plants at Costco a couple of weeks ago.  They are in a
plastic bag with in a plastic bag with something that looks like sawdust.
Is there anything I should do to revive them before I plant them in the ground?

I am in zone 7 and given the forecast for this weekend (60s and 70s) thought
I could start planting the ferns and hosta.
