Dear Susan,
Certatostigma -- I have read this tolerates dry shade. True?
Mine sure do, I have them in different areas and one batch receives no water during
our summer dry season and they continue to come back and bloom although not as lush
or for as long as the plant does in other areas that receive some supplemental water.
THey do well in the ground or in containers. They have small, shimmery-blue flowers
and a long season of bloom. The foliage on mine is reddish in fall and they didn't die
back even with our colder than normal winter. Mine spread by wandering around
under ground and self-sowing. I enjoy mine. : )
Hope you enjoy yours too.
