I've grown them 7 years (still have 2 of the original plants; the ones in
moister soil died in a winter or two, but with good drainage there's no
problem). There's been *no* spreading at all, they've just formed large
clumps. If I want more I have to collect seed and start them
purposefully.
BTW, does anyone know if this plant minds being divided? It's done so
well with no division that I've never tried it. A very carefree plant.
