Re: Spring is officially here....


Congratulations, Sue, on your Spring. Enjoy it, but send it on!

We have spring frogs, too, but are called Spring Peepers that live in
the marshes. We get Tree Frogs only in mid-summer after particularly
rainy weather. These guys have deeper voices which sound odd coming
down from the trees along the street. I once even had one or two move
into the covered "rain barrel" one year -- really a plastic garbage
can I cut the top just enough to let in the downspout. They clung
upside down to the top and would startle me when I'd open it up to
scoop out rain water for watering the hanging baskets.

This week, the night temperatures may stay above freezing two or three
nights; I'm dying to get outside and dig, but it's too wet.
