Hi, Everyone --
Went to our local "Symphony in Bloom" this weekend.
Lots of wonderfun (typo but I think I'll like it) things!!
One of my 'finds' was a clump of Tuberoses.
Couldn't resist after all the discussion recently of their wonderful scent!
;-))
Besides they were only a buck!
Where is the best place to find out how to plant these??
Is this OT on this list?
I'll list my questions -- maybee some of you may have answers or may give you
a better idea where to look for more specific info. I've done some searches
and found some general info but, of course, I have more questions.
Remember -- I'm blonde & need pictures. ;-)
The clump is about 4 inches across with every size possible of bulbs/tubers.
Should I try to break the clump apart?
Tried to break off a couple pieces but broke one & decided to quit until
someone makes me a little smarter.
Since I don't think they are cold hardy here, I am thinking about planting
them in a large pot which I can take indoors in the fall.
If I can break these apart, should I plant all at one time or stagger the
plantings?
I also bought a clump of Japanese Pussywillow. Really cool!
I want use some for decorating but also want to start a bush of my own.
Do any of you have any tips?
Should I just let some root in water & then plant when they get some roots?
Tried this last year but think I waited too long to plant in dirt.
Another 'find' was a "Variegated Polar Maple."
I really needed another houseplant!! HeHeHe ;-))
Thanks for listening!
Best wishes.
Have a cup of coffee on me & a rose to brighten your day!
